Flowers for Chance

This blog follows a series of interventions where communities, reclaim their space. It began in Nickolus Meisel's backyard where his neighbor Chance (he is a dog) had left a number of gifts throughout the winter. These gifts were flagged prior to cleanup to create a site-specific chance directed drawing. The posts on this site will chronicle interventions by communities whom were inspired by this project. nikmeisel@mac.com

Flowers for Reaney; a project with 4H students from across Washington

After some complaints of dangerous flags in play areas we removed cigarette butts, broken glass and paper trash as well as our flags.
Note the caution tape put up by the city after complaints of dangerous flags. I wonder if they have to do this when flagging irrigation systems. Please leave comments negative or positive here.
